Healing Intention

Lately, it seems I have received frequent news about friends having health issues. It is hard to know what to do sometimes, other than hold these people in my thoughts, when I am so far away. During our Art and Healing class in Sarasota one of the sessions focused on creating an image with a Healing Intention for someone else. This seemed like the perfect way to "be" with my friends during this time, and it gave me a worthy focus with my work while practicing holding an intention for someone else. Below are the pieces that came out of my meditations.

For Victoria and George

For Lori

For my brother and dad - just because I felt like it, and I miss them.

Hi Tia... I've been away from the blogging world for a bit, but wanted to stop in and say hello. Nice to see you are enjoying your creativity and settling in in Montana.

Your post resonated today. My friend's mother died yesterday, and I'm so far away.

I honestly thought the last one was going to be for a woman with ovarian cancer or whatnot and then when it said for "my brother and dad" I thought, why she giving them a vagina? But... that is not what it's about is it? ooops.

Bo,
I actually had the very same thought when that image came to be, but kept going as I have learned that it isn't up to me to judge what happens. And, after thinking about it, I thought that maybe the feminine is in fact what they each need right now... Nurturing, love, and support.
