Sweat and dust and..... ice cream!

I have spent the entire day in one room, tackling just one closet, in order to sort through things for the up-coming move.... This has involved getting down to the nitty gritty of looking through EVERYTHING; post cards, gift wrap, work related files (x10,000), art work, art supplies, craft projects (eeks!).... Just a little overwhelming at times.

Fortunately, I was provided with a welcome - and very unexpected - break! An ice cream truck had wandered onto our street! I say "wandered" because we're on a tiny dead end street and one has never come by in all the time we've lived here. And I had never (I know!) bought ice cream from an ice cream truck before! So, once I voiced this to my husband off we went, running to the truck to buy what turned out to be our first ice creams for both of us from an ice cream truck. The lady in the truck probably thought we were a little cracked when Bruce asked if he could take a picture of the momentous event.

I had the candy centered Crunch bar. Mmmmmmmmmmmm...........

Now back to the closet...

An ice cream truck. How timely is that?

A good break from heavy sorting.

I haven't had an ice-cream off a truck in several years. Before I started working, I would hear one go by our apartment at the same time every day. Ice-cream from a truck always tastes better I think.
